After researching for some time, I decided to upgrade my .308 700P to a new stock. I decided on the McRees MP-MODSS Tactical T-Mag Folder. I had three phone conversations with Scott at McRees and it is phenominal to go straight to the guru with questions. He made the difference in my decision. I added a US Optics 20 moa base and NXS 5.5-22x50 Zero Stop NP-R1. Thanks to all who helped fund this project by buying some of my gear in the Post Exchange!

The added bonus was that I was able to move my 300 WSM 700 SPS from a Choate into the HS Precision that the .308 had unasssed.

How did they shoot?

Re: McRees Upgrade

Very Nice set up! I met Scott yesterday evening for a deal, and have to say he is a heck of a good guy, and extremely down to earth and knowledgeable. I am now looking hard at his stuff for possible use in the future. I was checking out his personal rifle in one of his stocks and it was definately a first class setup. I think you will be pleased with it, and as you get used to it will only get better. Congrats.
