MDT Vertical Grip on an MPA Chassis

Does anyone have an MDT grip on and MPA Chassis? Just wondering how adjustable it is for those of us with short fingers. The MPAs finger shelf/bump makes it impossible for me to get a 90* finger.

Is it pretty easy to mount to the chassis?

Just kind of look for a complete low down/review on the set up.

That looks like a sweet grip. I have the mpa but have big hands. I did see a new Ergo vertical grip that looked pretty sweet. But doesn’t adjust and looks more for a tactical carbine???
Glad I read your post I think I found my next grip.

@Mmfujita I'm really hoping it works out nice. Ive been shooting an AXMC for the last two years in matches and want to build something a little more specific to PRS.

I have the MDT grip on my XLR and really like it.

It has about half an inch of travel.

Once locked down mine has been perfectly stable.

I tried the MDT on my MPA. It felt okay, but the grip just didn't seem to fit very well to the rifle. I have small hands, like size small in gloves. My complaint on the MPA grip was the index finger bump.

So I took my MPA to work, took off the grip tape and went to town with a roll of 220 sandpaper and a small grinder. It's injected molded, so there is a lot you can take off anywhere you want really. I smoothed out all the sharp angles, and now my finger reaches the trigger a lot more comfortably. Even took material of the back so if I want to wrap my thumb around instead of resting it on the shelf it's more comfortable.

So if you haven't tried sanding on it, I suggest giving it a shot. Start with 80/120 and end with wet 220.

Which xlr chassis do you have? How is the actual fit?

Our grip should fit on an MPA chassis without issue There may be some minor fitting required for the edges to align perfectly, but the interface is the same.
