Beginner question: Is there a database of dimensions for ordering lens caps that include the outer casing too? Obviously I know the objective size but how about the the ocular. Is there an easy button that will just tell me which ones I need for a Bushnell Elite 3200 DOA 600 3-9x40?

Lots of us have, good people and service.

If you buy your scope there I think you can just choose to have Butler Creeks included and they will send you the right ones.

Re: Measuring for lens cap

Here is the "official" Butler Creek flip-open scope cover chart:

http://www.butlercreek.com/productsImages/charts/flip_scope_chart.html

Measure the outside diameter of your scope's eyepiece and objective (as the old saying goes...measure twice, cut once) and then order accordingly. Order the smaller size if you are in between sizes...the Butler Creek covers will "stretch" some without the need of heating them up (and will stretch a little more with really hot water, etc.).

jasonk is right though...if you order from SWFA, just select the add Butler Creek covers button and add them automatically with your scope purchase.
