Medal of Honor winner in his own words

Re: Medal of Honor winner in his own words

Sgt Dakota Myers is a credit to the Marine Corp and the United States. He is a HERO, even if he doesn't think so. Glad to see him getting credit where credit is due.

Re: Medal of Honor winner in his own words

Wow.

Our little Village of Dundee NY buried Army Spc. Christopher Scott yesterday. Died during an insurgent attack in Afghanistan, Sept 3. It was simply overwhelming, the respect an entire small community poured out on behalf of one of ours who's fallen.

Made me feel good about where I live, a lot more than it has for a long time. I now know for a fact that I live in the right kind of community.

...and Semper Fi, Sgt Myers...

...Until they all come home...

I agree he is deserving of the MOH - and am very glad to see him getting it.

I only HOPE this is not a political ploy by anyone in the government to beautify the war in Afghanistan - they've been doing a couple of MOH"s and SHOULD be doing many more..

Very glad to see it, he earned it.
