MeOpta ZD 1-4x22mm Rifle Scope:
The MeOpta ZD’s Size, Weight, and Reticle worked really well on my Pre Band 16” Bushmaster.
The MeOpta ZD sits in a AMD Scout mount. This ADM mount was rock solid making more of a fan.
I have heard rumors that the MeOpta ZD holdover reticle is not setup correctly, form what I have seen this is that is not case. I found this scope to be very effective form pointblank range 10yds and out to 600yds. I was told the RET was a BDC but after looking at it more closely it looks to be setup in 2moa or even close to 1/2mil increments.
Over view of what is new about the ZD.
· Holdover points,
· Improved turret adjustment
· Turret caps that are tethered to the scope
· More compact, still able to keep the daytime illumination without a tinted glass.
Here is a photo of the older MeOpta K-Dot 1-4x you can see it’s a lot longer than the ZD.
