Okay I finally was able too get some time behind my MHSA Valkyrie build,



Using factory Hornady 88s, the rifle is pretty darn good I would say.

Using 308 Alpha Mag (14 round capable)

I can't see the downside

Looks good to me. Someone needs to make a high end dedicated mag for the valk.

It looks like 2750 with factory ammo, didn't chronograph it, just trued the software to match and 2750 was spot on so far

@drwood96 Now you know what to do with your Origin.

You can buy replacement AI 308 bolt bodies and use the internals, so a Valkyrie AI is doable

I might have to see if MHSA will experiment on a bolt for me

Using the older style alpha mag would be a type 1 correct? Hand feeding is getting old, hope the type 2 alpha mag works like your old one.

Your going to love it. 6 shot group at 1030 yards in the bottom right corner. No wind.

Edit: forgot to mention factory 88 eldms. 8.9 Mils of elevation. Sea level. 65-70 degrees.

What is the barrel life looking like in the Valkyrie? I have been contemplating a .223 boot build for a long time and keep thing the .224 might be just as fun.
