Anyone have any suggestions on a good optic for a 6.5 creedmoor . At around a price point of 600 / 1000 dollars . Maybe something new worth trying.

I dunno, Arken Optics sounds like a knockoff Riton that isn't even in stock. Atleast Riton Mod7 are actually made in Japan.

Just some ideas:
  • Vortex PST II - Scott at Liberty Optics
  • Burris XTR II 4-20 - maybe Scott or Eurooptic
  • Bushnell LRTS - Doug at cameralandny
  • Tract Toric 4-20 - Jon at Tract
  • Steiner P4Xi 4-16 - Doug at cameralandny
I’ve had all the above except for the P4Xi and they are all great for the price.

Vortex is one of the safest bets on planet earth. They have optics at all price ranges and a fair value for the money. Im a NF guy and their SHV optic is nice. I have a F1 mil mil scope that is decent. Vortex warranty is solid too.

Really happy with Steiner px4. Excellent scope for the money with great glass.

I would be remiss if I didn't throw the old standby Athlon in here. Picked up an Ares for my son’s 6mm a few weeks back and I have to say it's doing the job. I figured it was well received by most everyone who tried it so I gave it a shot and I'm impressed at the price point. But then again I'm easily pleased.

I have the P4Xi and 5-25 and 4-20 XTR2's, and i just saw the 5-25 XTR2 at DVOR for $609 in the pyrim sand color. The 4-20 might be a little better optically than the 5-25, but not enough that i would pay that much extra for it.

I just picked up a Bushnell LRTS 4.5-18 and couldn’t be happier with it. GAPrecision has a good deal on a Bushnell DMR2 3.5-21 with a kestrel and knife set for 1079$

What, no love for the SWFA? Fixed 10x for $299, or side focus for $399.

Or you could step it up to a variable 3-15 for $699

SWFA usually has killer deals around black friday, if you can wait that long.

I bought a 3-15 SFP for $399 with caps a few years back. It's a hell of a scope.

In the $600 to $1000 range, I think Steiner P4Xi from Cameraland is still the one to beat.

If you are looking for more magnification, Meopta Optika6 5-30x56 is a good option. I am kinda partial to the MRAD reticle in that scope for some reason.

If you want something a little smaller, Bushnell LRTS 4.5-18x44 also from Doug is a good option.

They have already started shipping. Not sure who got the first ones. I know Midway expects some soon.
That's interesting, I've been waiting on the Signature 3-15 and the RT-15 but they both still say "coming soon" on Burris' own website.

I just bought two Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25 X 50's from Euro Optic from their Showroom Demos with the EBR-7C Retical.
They were $ 849.99 each. There was also NIB Viper PST Gen II 5-25 X 50's with the EBR-2C Retical for $ 799.99
All of those are within you price range and will leave money for caps, a level and a throw lever.

I had the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25 X 50 and it was not good to me. The image would go blurry after a shot, change the focus and it would go blurry the again after the shot. Sent it back to Vortex twice. Two of my buddies have had the same scope with no issues. I ended up with the Athlon Cronus BTR 4.5-29 X 56 and it has been pretty good.

Thanks
