Re: Mil or MOA Turrets?
Mil/Mil scope = Read mils in reticle, dial into scope. Done.
Mil/MOA scope = Read mils in reticle, multiply by 3.438, dial into scope. Done.
Example, you see your hit 1.4 mils left, as measured with your reticle. With Mil/Mil, you dial 1.4 mils right and your next shot is bullseye. With a Mil/MOA scope, you first have to do the math to convert it to MOA, then dial that onto your scope. If you can multiply 1.4 x 3.438 in your head fast, then you probably won't have a problem.
Whatever floats your boat. I use Mil/Mil.
Edit to add: MOA/MOA works just fine too. In a nutshell, it helps if the curtains match the carpet...so to speak.
