Milling out a target action for DBM

I just traded for a Savage stainless target action and this thing is very beefy compared to my Savage repeater action but it is a single shot.

1. Has anyone had one milled out to accept a DBM, if so would you recommend doing it and who did the work?

2. The screw spacing is 4.1, does Savage make the factory DBM for 4.1 SS or are they all 4.4?

While I am sure it is possible, it may be more cost efficient to trade or sell said action for one that you want.
