Headed to the machinist this week and just wanted to check my math vs that of those of you who have already done this.
Looks like I will have to go .050" deep with a length of 1.53" to make my 28MOA mount accept this scope. In addition, those who have done this, did you make your cut in order for the scope to be centered to the mount thus putting the FRONT ring as close to the bell as possible or did you make the cut so that the FRONT ring will have equal space on both sides of the ring between the turret housing and the front of the scope. I'm talking about the section of the main tube that sits in front of the turret housing that measures 1.5" in length.
