There has been a lot of interest lately in the MINI suppressors. So here is a video comparing a number of them. I hope you enjoy.

Re: Mini Suppressor Comparison Brevis and Surefire

Nicely done .
& For a good size representation on the size of the Brevis Mini .556 . If you take a little Starbucks 6.5 oz. double-shot Can . The Brevis Mini is about 1/2" shorter than the 6.5 oz.Can & about the same on Diameter .

Also This week on Tuesday . A guy pulled one of the .30 cal. Brevis out @ 600 practice & did a slow-fire 22-round string out it with his .308 . for a little shorter OAL .30 Can . The sound was 'Real Nice' when shooting prone on the Line with him . Also his 22-round Group size was good also with it on, the whole string of fire .

I got the chance to demo a couple of Brevis .556 mini & standard last week . Like you, I thought the Mini was surprisingly efficient & left the carbine in good balance & weight with it on the muzzle . Also while standing In-front & a little off the side of the Muzzle when firing them sideXside . You really get a true to the ear comparison also on them & how nicely they tame the blast for being small .
The larger 5" .556 Brevis really did a nice job .

I understand that the microphone is "only so good" but given the equipment and time that we had, I tried to make the video as fair and unbiased as possible. I still think all of the suppressors are fairly represented in the video. Meaning you can still tell which one is quietest.

Great video. Thanks for taking the time to compile it.

I went to the Brevis site and can't find weights listed for any of them. Could you post the weight of each of the Brevis cans? I'm interested in the 308 and 375 specifically.

Thanks.

Thanks for the effort of making that video. That answers some of the questions I've had about the shorties, calibers and such.

Another interesting vid by sweetbeard. I noticed some flash signatures when you're shooting it. These flashes are not visable in the other vid.

Is the flash being caused because it's being used on a carbine and there is still unburnt powder present?

That is a mixture of a 10inch barrel, wolf ammo and using a .308 can.. alot of unburnt powder is getting thru that shorty can .
