Guys this may not be the proper place,but. anyone know how the 7.62 MK316 Mod 0 is packaged? how is it marked ? I have some FED GMM with the box Marked as 7.62x51, it is a FED GMM box and says it is 175 gr HPBT, case marked FC 13 non crimped primer and boxer primed . the little I have tried shoots about like M118LR, but was in a hurry. any info?

Well I guess I have one more question for usmc0331 and that's how the rounds are headstamped? are they different than the M118LR? just curious.
You just have 762 spec FGMM. Non-polished brass, 762 case thicknesses... I believe Federal at least tries to make the chamber pressures the same between GMM 308 and 762, but your individual chamber dimensions will have a lot to say about that.
I prefer shooting the 762GMM out of my AIAW over 308GMM. But it is for sure not M118 or anything else. The last case I bought was stamped "FC 13" as well.
This lot is headstamped FC 13, these rounds are literally FGMM 7.62 in a different packaging

Thanks all ,my questions have been answered, now to try the ammo with more time, thanks again USMC you been a great help.
Should shoot just like 118LR albeit it with a more temperature insensitive powder.
