The bolt rifle is our iteration of the mil issued MK13 MOD5 300 win-mag rifle. We use all the same specs used while Alan was building them at Crane -- AI chassis; Lilja barrel contoured to accept KAC MK11 MOD0 suppressor; Rem MARS rail; M16 bolt extractor mod. We've built a few with a tactical tapered barrel for other suppressor systems.
Very nice shooting -- especially if you have a place where you can stretch out the target distance.

Build spec/pricing here. I'm not affiliated with HCS, but I am a customer. At his listed price, it was hard for me to decide between the MK13 Mod5 and a slightly modified early MK13 I had been craving since the early 90s. Since I am one of the few who isn't comfortable behind the AICS, I went with the latter.
I like seeing the Daniel Defense rails on the shorty's. I have a 12.0 Lite Rail on my MK12-ish and like it ALOT. I use button socket capscrews on the connection on the back though. Just to be a little different.

No, no "extra" bedding-- uses the AI self centering bedding system -- same as the way he built it while in Small Arms at Crane.

I am starting to really like the MK13. Wish I could have find more info on it. Want to build one of these bad boys but its probably going to have to wait til after deployment. Also love the MK18's as well. Going to try and get one built before deployment. Nice guns.

MK13 MOD5 looks badass!!
Can you tell more about what other suppressor combos your customers have requested to utilze with the MK13 MOD5 besides the KAC MK11 MOD 0 QD. Also, I read in a magazine that the Lija barrel life for the MK13 MOD5 in the 300 win. mag is around 1,500...is this accurate?
