So here is my dilemma. Several years ago, I purchased a really well made cartridge belt and left handed, cross draw holster for my .45 LC SAA revolver. I subsequently went to a .357 mag SAA and rifle for my "cowboy" rigs. Anyhow, the belt and holster are from some place in Texas and I can't find the guy anymore. I would like to modify the cartridge loops to hold a .357 instead of a .45. Any thoughts on how to do so would be appreciated. I have been thinking of just buying a narrow leather strip and cutting some "sleeves" to insert in each loop with some kind of leather friendly glue. I know I could buy a new rig, but I really like this set and am unemployed besides so looking for a cheap remedy.
