Alright guys, we absolutely rocked this. We ended up having 48,000 cards printed, so many that we had to bring in a second print shop to get it done fast. The first shipment of just over half the cards (8 giant boxes) is due on my doorstep tomorrow (Monday) and the second (7 boxes) is set to be delivered the next day (Tuesday).
For anyone who missed what we're doing. Here's the thread with details. http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3795583#Post3795583
I already have the shipping labels for everybody printed out and ready to go so I hope to have a lot of the cards on their way out to you guys tomorrow but that will depend on when the UPS guys drops them off, either way I'll get them out Monday evening or Tuesday morning but I hope to have them in your hands buy the "Gun Appreciation Day" on Saturday the 19th.
Most of the cards are all set to be distributed all over the U.S. I've got to hold some back for the five people I haven't heard back from yet. So if you sent me money and haven't touched base with me about how many cards you want and where you want them sent to, check your email or the email address linked to the Paypal account that was used or send me a PM on here. Again there's only 5 of you I don't have this info for so I'll hold back cards for you guys just in case but outside of sending emails to the paypal linked email address I have no way of knowing who the five people are who sent money are. If you're in doubt or want to double check send me an email [email protected].
There's been a lot of chatter in the background about doing a second run of "less-offensive" postcards that would appeal to a broader range of potential senders and from other forums. Something along the lines of the picture below. I can easily do a second run of cards so if you're interested in this or think another forum would get on board with this new design let me know and we'll get the ball rolling on it.
New less-offensive design.
So again, guys thanks to our coming together as a shooting community we absolutely knocked this one out of the park and my wife is pissed because I <span style="text-decoration: underline">WAY</span> under-estimated the shipping costs and will be deep in the red by the end of this LOL.
