I hate Floyd....but Logan Paul is going to get murdered.....
Paul can barely hold his own against no-names just starting their career...he stands no chance against a real fighter
Also, Floyd has never lost a fight....his ego physically won't allow him to lose his first fight to some wanna be no talent YouTuber...Paul will have to physically kill the man inorder to stand a chance

Odds on Paul winning opened betting at 20:1. Looks like lots of youtube fans are taking the long shot on Paul, forcing book makers to reduce the odds on Paul winning to 6.5:1.

Its a match that never should have happened. Its like putting an allstar baseball team on the football field against the superbowl champs. Boxing and MMA are two completely different sports.
Floyd is a dancer first.....then decides when he is ready to start the hits. Never goes on the attack until the right time. He's not worried about a score card decision. He's going to dance until it suits him. If another fighter played the same game you could beat Floyd with a few good hits.
As much as I would love to see Mayweather lose, I wouldn’t bet against him. The fact that he hasn’t taken serious damage throughout his career is why he still is a great fighter into his 40’s. Age will catch up to him eventually. I’m sure he isn’t as sharp today as he was last year and so on. I don’t see him fighting a real contender at this point in his career.

Also, with regards to the McGregor Mayweather fight...Connor had no chance of winning, but every time he made headway, the ref jumped in to separate them...Was really kind of a bullshit fight

I'd go in there and get my ass kicked by Mayweather for whatever amount of millions will be paid. This is another show fight for Mayweather. He'll toy with him for 6 or so rounds before turning up the heat, defeating Logan Paul by TKO. They'll take their money and laugh their asses off all the way to the bank.
If I were a “YouTube personality” (which I am not), and fancied myself as a boxer (which I don’t), I would probably pick a retired MMA fighter known for his ground game and a retired boxer that didn’t outweigh me with a toddler in each arm for my boxing matches too. Askren v Paul was a snooze fest “event” that wasn’t an event. FFS, who signed off on that? I didn’t buy that fight (hell, I didn’t know it was a thing until I showed up at the bar snd it was on) and I won’t buy this one.

I was discussing this with my daughter and as much as it 'forced' me to root for Mayweather while she was a Paul offcianado, in true fashion, no one 'won' and everyone who watched lost. RIP US Boxing. (its been dead for years--pay per view really did kill it--used to watch boxing Saturdays with my grandpa).
Was listening to a few promoters and the big issue with boxing is the multiple belts.
Not the actual belts but the governing bodies of each.
They said several promoters have been trying to get them unified under a single entity so the schedule and ranking can be counted on. Which can then be promoted properly.
they also said that each belt or the group need to have a home stadium or several but on the same schedule/rotation.
Yeah I know the multiple titles is a problem, but I would argue the fact that we see less and less boxing each year is a bigger factor. I remember watching Olympic Boxing as a kid and the US dominated it. Used to be it was how many future champs and how many golds were we going to get. Now we are lucky to get a medal. And the olympics was a pipeline to the pros (akin to college football). The talent pool is empty so you can avoid those big bouts. Look at the early 70s Heavy weights. Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton--holy crap was that division loaded. I can't even name a heavyweight these days.
