So, in true colors of a know-nothing who gets a job that pays well, start demanding a raise within 6 months.
If the people can’t figure out what all of these people are up to, they deserve the fate they keep voting for.

As our beloved @ArmyJerry would say:

BUY MORE AMMO

(doesnt that sound nice when we all say it together?)

Let's do it in rounds.

"It’s not even like a raise," Ocasio-Cortez said

You worthless cunt! $4500 is a hell of a lot tacked on to my yearly salary. Some years people like me don't get any raise at all. My raise this year won't come close to half that figure.
Ignorant, communist, mule faced, bug eyed, buck toothed cunt.
In her parlance that's 225 20 dollar knobjobs.

Congress should pass a bill changing their salary to current VA retirement numbers, or active duty E5.

Wait a second, they’d all quit.

This is win/win idea.

You could cut their pay to zero and they wouldn't notice it.
They rake in money like leaves in the fall

If members of the military or LE community got that rich, that quick, there would be massive investigations and tons of arrests with convictions.

I just had a discussion with Matthew (15yrs) about how there are different rules for them vs us.
What started the conversation was his summer on-line government course he's taking. One of the lessons mentioned that without Government, there would just be anarchy.
He was like, WTF?

Has congress passed a bill yet this term? I'm out of the loop. 90% of time and resources seemed to be aimed at what Trump has done or is doing. I guess I cannot see myself paying someone to worry about the deeds of others.

Making way more than she's ever made in her young life, 3 times the median US household income and probably seeing for the first time how much Uncle takes from a real paycheck. Of course she wants more. She's a one-hit-wonder and probably won't be around for another term.

Maybe, but at least she'll have her congressional retirement check.

Exactly! She's been there 6 months and wants more money! If she doesn't get it, she'll be " pressured " to utilize the insider trading loophole. Her fellow members of congress won't like that assertion. Insert fork, she's done...

I wish I would have gotten "adjustments" like that thru my many years of working! Maybe they haven't gotten a raise since 2009, because they haven't done anything since then, IIRC congress is only in session 60+ days a year? Sounds like they are paid well enough as it is. Mac

I'll trade congressional COL pay increases for limits of six terms HoR and two terms Senate, with a combined total of twelve years max for those who chose to bounce from one chamber to the other and no retirement (at 25% of max 3rate) without faithfully serving all 12 years without censure or criminal inditement. And regular piss tests too, because some of these mother fuckers are smoking some shit.

I like the way you’re thinkin ?

They ought to have to recite all of their sponsors like a preamble each time they address the house like the corporate fucking whores they are.

"Now the Rep. sponsored by Microsoft-Starbucks-Boeing of WA will take the floor" --we don't even need their name, it's not important.

It's only a legitimate government now because of corporate sponsorship and heavily armed thugs willing to do any greedbag's bidding for a few shekels. Enforcement of bullshit laws that keep the people divided and in perpetual fear of being busted for one crime against the state or another, which carry by far the heaviest penalties.

Me too, but it's the wrong group of people to try and hold accountable for actually doing their jobs

And......do you actually want them "doing their jobs" ?

I'm not a fan of gridlock on principle, but it has stopped a lot of bullshit from getting passed into law. Too bad none of those bastards have this country's best interests at heart.

Conversely, God bless Jim Jordan, Devin Nunes and the likes of them....

Doing their job, not based on their principles, but based on the constitution and what is actually good for the country.

Most of them are treasonous self absorbed commie shitbags

Hi Mike,

I agree with you in principle, unfortunately that ship set sail (for the douches in DC) a long time ago.

They're so busy undermining the Constitution, it's going to be the last thing they stand up for.

And, you ain't wrong about them being treasonous, self absorbed commie shitbags.......
