I have a new prodject i want to get together to make use of vast quantities of 7.62x54r ammo around. I dont want to bother making a historicly accurat rifle so mach as making one that just shoots. So who are the smiths that i can go to for help?

My business partner is a huge Mosin guy. He's more of a mil-surp person in general. At the NRA show, we were looking at a new stock made by Archangel (?) that was fully adjustable. Had a detachable mag, was free floated, but a tension screen in the forearm if the free-float isn't helping, and it's cut for a Timney Trigger. I suggest you start there. It's "basically drop in".

My understanding is it's new on the market and coming out in June. He wants to get one and run it against my, his words, "Mall-ninja-douche-bag" rifles! Needless to say, I'm looking forward to a lively shooting season with lots of trash-talking on both sides.
