Most Accurate 6.5 Creedmoor out of the box?

No way. Desert Tech Inc 6.5. .5 moa right out of the box. Slap a good scope on it and you're set.

Good alternative is the AI AT in 6.5 creedmoor.

I'm not getting into a "who's rifle is better" discussion...obviously, the customs are the shit, whichever one you were to go with. I read "production rifle" as "mass produced/factory rifle." And on that note, OP, you won't find any other bolt action, factory 6.5CM outside of Savage, T/C, and Ruger.

You read correctly, I was referring to "mass produced". I should have clarified more. I'll look into those. Thank you all!!!

As far as production rifle in 6.5CM goes, you won't be able to beat the Savage Model 12LRP.

There are a few factory 6.5 Creedmoors that are very good shooters BUT if you're looking for something that doesn't cost almost/or as much as a custom, the Savage 12LRP is the way to go. Last time I looked, they were just under a grand.

If you are on somewhat of a budget or don't want to drop a lot of money go with the 12LRP. If money is not the concern go with an AI. My 12 LRP is very good for the price but does it compare to my AI, no and I would hope it would not as the price differential is rather significant.

Yeah I think I'm gonna have a budget on this one....:( I'm waiting to go custom when I increase size from my 300wm:)

I am looking for bolt action. No budget, except that most mass produced rifles are gonna max at a little over a grand IMO. I just wanna grab one off a shelf, bed and throw in a new trigger.

Like several have said... AIAX but its a little more than a grand. good news is you won't have to bed it or get a new trigger. It fits the "most accurate" title. I'm sure a savage would shoot well enough but not in the same league as an AIAX

I would also recommend looking into this from JP Enterprises

What do you guys think that have one or know about this caliber? I was going to go custom, but I bet there is a pretty good production gun out there. Thanks for helping:)

Buy a used custom build built from a reputable smith. I got mine like this 5 years ago and liked it so much I never upgraded. Near as I can figured I paid about $1300-$1400 less than what it would have sold for new. All along I could have resold it for what I paid for it or even a little more if I had changed my mind.

Earlier this year I had the 4th and 5th barrel made up it.

There are some very nice customs in the $2000 range in the SH classifieds right now. 260 Rem and 6.5x47L should also be considered.

I've been cruising the classifieds as well:)

I have a weatherby vanguard s2 in 6.5cm. Picked it up at cabelas on sale for $400. Shoots great. Although I use it as a hunting rifle. I use my xlr 6.5 for target shooting.
Ive been wanting one of these but havent found any for sale recently. My other choices are between savage 11 and the new ruger american predator in 6.5cm. Im going for a budget build.

Sounds like your budget minded so an AI might be out of the question at the moment. I would highly recommend the Savage 12LRP. I have one in .260 and my buddy owns one in 6.5cm and both guns with reloads are 0.7 MOA every time and 0.5 MOA the majority of the time. I don't think you can beat this rifle for under a grand with anything else on the market, Period.

And Weatherby, and Browning. All are rifles of a bit different sort than the AI or various others mentioned here. I got rid of my Savage Creedmoor and now have a Ruger. It's a great general-purpose rifle. I don't use it as a match gun, or at least I haven't. It's job is hunting, plinking out to 700 yards or so, and being extremely durable. It shoots comparably to the former Savage, but doesn't deteriorate on me after a box or two of ammo, like the former did.

You have the new ruger american predator ? Can you be more detailed how you like it. Im debating between that and the weatherby. Both are close in price.

So everytime the weatherby gets in stock its sold out. Saw one in stock and drove to my LGS by the time i got there it was gone but they had a ruger american predator in 6.5cm there which is a big surprise. Now im debating on picking that one up but it seems soooo light and looks kinda cheap especially the plastic mag. However there was literally no flex in the stock. I may have to end up getting another 308.

I believe the question would be better asked, if price bracketing were include. For example, Most accurate up to $1000.00, $2000.00, $3000.00, $5000- unlimited, and include which builder/brand has established records (paper targets, group sizes etc.). You may find that the accuracy difference between a 3 and 5 thousand dollars gun is actually zero, when fired off sand bags, known distance, paper targets, as the question is Accuracy, and nothing else.
