I don't think anyone being killed accidentally by anyone regardless of political philosophy is hilarious. Cheering someone's death is what socialists do, with few exceptions like Bin Laden, Dahmer or Hitler.

Most guns used in movies are non-functional or have been modified to shoot blanks only. Some however are live guns. Any firearm and ammunition on a movie set is supposed to be under strict control. The industry and SAG even control who is allowed to hold a lit cigarette including when and where on the set. Without knowing the facts it is irresponsible to even voice that you know what happened. Something went way wrong and beyond that you don't know anything.

How many action movies have you seen where a shooting scene is filmed with the victim's POV where the shooter is shooting directly at the camera to give that impression? Where do you think the director of photography would be? Behind or near the camera? Where do you think the director would be?

I'm reasonably certain Baldwin pulled the trigger. Also a fair bet the muzzle was too close to the victims (most likely) head. Far from the first time this has happened amongst out elite entertainers. Sad that someone died because Baldwin is a dick.

Unless the "prop gun" spontaneously discharged, what we have here is a case of negligence. I'm sure nothing will come of it.

I remember shankster all too well. Unlike Dirty D he was actually banging those chicks. Even started showing pictures of his stable toward the end. You sir have not been overlooked. A pox on your house too...

Cant we just show some ladies with amazing abs? It would be OK if they had bunions or was even an outie. Something that when they spread their legs I cant smell through the screen on my PC. So disgusting, but I think you already know that.
Ask and you shall receive. How's this for amazing abs?

The local union that organizes the prop mangers said none of their people were on site, it was all local New Mexico workers. Apparently one of them loaded a live round in the gun. I suspect it was a POV shot and the actual shot was fired as part of the scene. It is my understanding the actor is not allowed to touch the ammo, load or unload the firearms on set. I would guess whoever loaded the gun is going to jail. There is apparently video of the shooting.

Now more penance to be paid to the MPT gods.

I didn't say cheer-worthy I said hilarious and it wasn't an 'accident'. You point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, negligent maybe, accident, no. You're the the one pulling the trigger, you and only you are responsible for the outcome. I'll give you the last word and then let's leave it here; I'm generally a fan of your posts.

I'd call it reckless endangerment/manslaughter by a careless asshole.

I buy my eye bleach by the drum! Aint skeered! Will edit to add that i agree to girls with nice abs. I love fit women, although at my age they probably wouldnt like me. I'm good with that because I'm not a wannabe, I'm a usetabe!
I can't imagine someone like you being "skeered" of anything. No such thing as a "usetabe" for people like you. I will see if I can dig up some modestly attractive abs for you, however most of them will look like they need to spend a couple of months eating at the Country Kitchen buffet.

What ever happened to the 36 yard zero thing? That was all the rage a few years ago now no one is talking about it. The range I shot at only has 15, 25, 50, 100, 200 yards berms and steel out to 1000. My 3 year ban is getting ready to expire there so I can go back. It seems some of the people didn't like it when I hung a target at 25 yards and moved 11 yards back from the firing line to zero my .338 Lapua. One guy kept yelling "puta madre" I told him thanks but I drink Corona or Modelo.

From the Wikipedia article about the "Rust" movie they were filming:

Premise[edit]

Harland Rust is an outlaw who rescues his thirteen-year-old grandson Lucas after he is sentenced to hang for an accidental murder. Now fugitives, the pair have to outrun U.S. Marshal Wood Helm and bounty hunter Fenton "Preacher" Lang.[2]

Oof.

The article I read did not mention live ammo. Actors killed using blanks is not a new thing.
