Apparently you don't have kids if you don't find pictures of them doing cool stuff motivating. I would lots rather see a picture of a little girl spotting for her brother when she is 5 or 6 than hanging off of a stripper pole when she is 20.
 
This is way too funny to not post. What some people will say or put in writing in order to sell something. I live close enough, I may have to ask if I can come inspect this war relic.

Looks like marks where the brass fingers on the military sling fretted over the years... Nice looking '03, though. Might even be able to trace carvings to a name/soldier.

His other '03 is interesting, too. Unless it's a reimport, it's a neat piece.

There are so many things wrong with that rifle it's tough to list them all. The "kill" marks on the bottom of the stock are from someone forcing the lower band over the forend causing nice uniform gouges where the band dug, a common occurance with 03's. The lower band is a stamped 03A3 band, the stacking swivel is a stamped 03A3, hard to believe a 8-44 dated barrel made it through the supply chain to be installed in time for use during WWII. The stock is a WWI grasping groove type with a script cartouche and it has a Benecia Arsenal rebuild cartouche. I doubt the rifle has ever left the states.

The second rifle has been refinished and has a 43 dated barrel on a 42 dated receiver. Probably a nice shooter though.

Note to some of you, this isn't a porn thread. Some people try to make it one because they apparently can't find Red Tube or You Jizz, or maybe they have firewalls at work that block those sites so they need to come here to fap while working.

CBM and I have had our disagreements in the past but I absolutely approve of him posting pictures of his kids doing something cool. Too bad more parents don't spend that kind quality of time with their kids.

Different people are motivated by different things. Hot chicks, funny stuff, military badass shit getting blown up, jumping over stuff, even some of Tuckers pictures are cool. Everyone needs to just scroll past the stuff that is not of interest.

Ya, why would a guy post pictures of kids shooting on a website dedicated to shooting? Instead he should post pics of naked women and other raunchy stuff, on a website dedicated to shooting. I dont care what anybody post's here, its LL's website, he can allow whatever he wants. But if anything is out if place here, its the soft porn. Is it really that hard for you to find something to beat off to? Again, I have no problems with anything in this thread, titties or otherwise, we're all adults here, but can we quit the squabbling about what you find motivating? If you like titties, there are far better places to find them than Snipershide, enjoy, or dont, your participation is completely voluntary.

Not being a '03 aficionado, I wouldn't recognize the smaller items... but now that you mention the barrel band, I completely see how those marks were left. Thanks for the insight... I learned something today, which makes it a good day!

168.... how about posting some more detail over in the Vintage Thread? I'd like a nice 'stock' un-messed with 03 someday and it would be good to see your thoughts on what to look for. This gun looks like a good one to 'learn' from... at least to learn what to avoid.
