Gore sites like Crazyshit, theYNC, Kaotic, etc... helped steer far more people away from drugs than any DARE or other government education program combined ever did. It is one thing to hear someone keep saying "drugs are bad mmkay?". It is a whole other thing to actually see videos of people freaking the fuck out, chimping out in public and getting the shit beaten out of them, embarrassing themselves, and doing demonic shit like carving long blood-gushing gashes all over their own chests with a fileting knife, or chasing family members around with an axe while under the influence of various deliriants.
Boy, howdy. We had a bunch of freshman high schoolers setting targets for silhouette Handgun. Everyone was well back of the line, and wearing ear and eye pro. One little girl brought her glasses to me, with the base of a .30 projo sticking out of the dead center of the right eye. We carefully put it on her face again and it was exactly over her pupil. It looked like a tiny table saw blade.
The glasses are in the Band Room as an object lesson. I’m sold on eye pro
