It's pretty crazy. In the 90s we had next to zero whitetails in SE Colorado or the mountains. Now we have both the larger northern and smaller southern white tails in large numbers. The first time I saw a heard of the little southern white tails it took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at. It looked like a pack of dogs running though the tamarisk across the lake.
