Gators are a part of the ecosystem that works. Those that get all askeered from seeing a gator larger than 6’ long are the problem.

It will be bothered. That’s a painted turtle, likely a yellow slider. They are plentiful and a favorite food for gators. Hell, they’re good eating for humans too, if you like that sorta thing.
