They’re great at the range. I’m 5’6” and carrying one would be miserable for me. It would do me no good if I didn’t bring it with me. If something bad goes down I want to start off with 10 or 16, not 8.
I am 5'7" and sometimes carry a Colt Commander on my hip,
too fat for IWB, so a pancake holster works well with an untucked shirt,

same with a SIG 228 or 220

tho honestly, most days, and I carry every day, it's a Seecamp LWS32 or a Smith Centennial J Frame in the front pocket

While working at a tire shop we had an earthquake. Not 2 minutes later a customer drove up and said there was something wrong with their car and it was not driving right. I informed them that we just had an earthquake. They thanked me and drove off.
granted I am in central VA, and when we get an earthquake, it is very mild,

driving home from work one day, maybe 25 yrs ago, and a ''big one'' hit Louisa Co, about an hour from me, and it was all over the radio,

I thought it was all BS until I watched the news, but apparently the tire on the 2000 tundra were enough insulation that I never felt it,
