I think its a 100%, no question, slam dunk life threatening situation. When you carry a deadly weapon and someone attacks you and tries to steal it from you any reasonable person can infer that grave bodily harm is the aim of the attacker. If you OC it's wise to use a retention holster anyway.
I see OC as your right, and I won't speak against it even if I don't do it. But, you're a fool if you OC in a lot of places where just you're presence can already be construed as looking for trouble. This is true even though you're also a fool if you go to those places unarmed. In some places OC won't earn you a second glance. In a lot of others it's going to cause a lot of eyes to become glued on you. If you OC in those places you have to wonder if drawing attention is not the purpose of OCing rather than for defense.

It's not her, but it's uncanny. I never noticed because of the hair, but as a blond it's her twin. I showed her father and he thought it was her too. She's a few years older now, but that's her in her early 20s. If it fooled her dad I don't feel so bad for making the mistake.
