Look into Lightweld machines. Not cheap, but laser aluminum welding setups

They got the ears and nose good, unfortunately for them, skull structure is very difficult to manipulate.

I didn't even think the nose was right. Top pic, that guy's nose is much narrower just below the bridge. Eyes aren't right either, besides the skull thing. We're not supposed to question the media and big sugar, though.

This one never gets old. TopGun should have paid tribute to this story during the Mach 9 scene. Maverick should have muttered "This one's for you, Sled Driver." and keyed the mic for an LA speed check. He wouldn't have even needed to do it at Mach 9, he just needed to do it above Mach 4.
I'm still waiting for someone to edit that scene into their YouTube version of the movie.
