T-ball is the best. My son's first game one of the kids on his team hit the ball then took out the kid in the pitching circle with a Dick Butkus type hit, absolutely laid him out. Maybe that's where the term "football bat" comes from.
I fix HVAC stuff. I have no clue what model the machines are in that shop. I know what they do and have watched the guys run them. We have a deal. I don't run their machines and they don't fix HVAC stuff. I can take the parts and assemble them but I just watch when it comes to the machining.
These pictures are great, but they make me sad to think we have lost the great manufacturing might this country had back when these pictures were taken.

Watched a video of the construction of the ELCO PT boats, amazing amount of materials, know how and labor went into the construction of one. They had two Scandinavian craftsmen that used wood adze to finish the transom no sanding required.
Scoliosis is strong with this one.
Amazing to see... And at today's prices - roughly $500 million worth of aircraft.

Purely going off of recent sale prices - $3.3m for a Corsair, and $1.1m for a Hellcat. I figure it's a conservative estimate for brand new airplanes.
at the auto vo-tech school I went to, the machine shop teacher had an ex-Al Joniec Mustang Funny car that originally had a 427 cammer, which was replaced with a 429 hemi. It made glorious sounds... :-D
