Exactly my point. Despite the ridiculous change in Swedish law that classifies looking sideways at a woman as rape, that click bait headline saying that 1 in 4 women have been raped is an egregious lie, more appropriate for MSM than for good meme work.

In case anyone’s having trouble with the math, 1 in 4 would be 25,000 cases per 100,000 people. Unless of course women are less than 3% of the population.
The math is still way off - I think - but the cases per 100,000 is per year. So over a lifetime your odds go way way up.

Sure, when you consider that a wife wanting to get rid of her husband can claim she has been raped 30 times a month with no recourse for the male. Uh huh, sounds legit to me.
The 25% is a projected number. They are saying 25% of the women will be raped in their lifetime. The number per 100,000 in the meme is an annual crime reporting number. It's not saying 25% of the women will be raped every year, just at some point in their life they will be. It also doesn't factor in women that will be raped multiple times. If they are being victimized at a rate of 5.6% of the population per year it would be easy to see how 25% of the population would be victimized in their lifetime.

So, the rate has risen from 5.6% in 2019 to to 25% by 2023, of the total female population?
Also, by definition of their new laws, that statistic might not be too different here.
