Oppenheimer: I released mine in Japan twice. And it bombed both times. It took a while, but eventually it was a huge success in the USA and the Soviet Union. It was so popular neither country could get enough of them. It was as if the two countries were racing to see who could collect the most. At one point it was all anyone in the USA could think about. Schools actually taught kids what to do when my products arrived. We’re not talking about a 5-minute discussion in a classroom — Schools conducted monthly drills on how to react the moment my products showed up. In every grade from Kindergarten through 12th grade. To this day, entire generations of students still remember the training they received.

Beatlemania might of had screaming teenage girls… but I had entire families planning their future around my products. You thought Taylor Swift tickets were expensive? Some families were so obsessed they spent a fortune preparing for mine.

When my products showed up in Cuba even the President of the United States was excited. It was as if he couldn’t wait for them to show up in the USA. He got on national TV and announced his plans for US distribution.

My products played a significant role in the outcome of the 1964 Presidential election. Without them, Barry Goldwater would have likely beaten Lyndon Johnson. Instead, Johnson won the election by the greatest landslide in US history. All because of a single TV commercial for my product. To this day, people who voted back in 1964 still remember that commercial.

I’ve had top of the chart songs written about my products. In one case the 1980s music videos was so popular just mentioning the name ‘Nena’ will cause readers to remember the song’s name in two languages. Many will also recall exactly what the lead singer looked like.

Burger King has the Whopper, but Mathew Broderick had a WOPR of a movie about my products. It was a blockbuster that became part of pop culture. Decades before Jigsaw asked “Would you like to play a game?, WOPR was asking “Shall we play a game?”

How many families have a special code word they use when their daughter loses one of her dozens of Barbie dolls? The US Government uses a special code word when one of my products goes missing. Heck, Hollywood even made a movie about losing one with that term as the title.

Barbie has a Malibu beach house, but I had designated areas in buildings in nearly every city back in the 60s and 70s. Mine aren’t painted pink, but they were clearly labeled. Some of the signs are still there in old buildings.

Barbie has a pink phone, but the Presidents of the US and the Soviet Union each had a red phone just for me. Heck, the POTUS even has someone carrying all my important details in a briefcase wherever he goes.

Barbie movies come out what, once every couple decades? Hollywood makes billions off of my stuff. There are multiple movies and TV shows about my products every year.

We were living on an Air Force base in West Germany from 1961 to 1963, Cuba, start of Berlin wall, waves of nuke armed 52's flying up to the border escorted by fighters from our base, many of which did not return. The idea of sheltering under a desk / table was not taught there.

Directly behind our house was a bomb crater from WW2 60 ft across and 10 ft deep.....

During World War II, Kulp (in glasses) left the University of Miami in 1944 to join the United States Naval Reserve. She attained the rank of lieutenant, junior grade, and received several decorations while in the service, including the American Campaign Medal. She was honorably discharged in 1946.

Airsoft, but ruined by a whole bunch of COD/MW live chatroom man-babies...

Muthafuckas here either needs some nice cigars to chill and remind them that they are grown men, or pepperballs from a paintball-firing sidearm...

Because of her shenanigans, somebody forgot to close the hatch in time, accidentally flooding half of the damned thing, and somebody else got slapped silly and ordered to undergo a psych eval once they got back to the flagship IJNS Akagi...

Lets see who gets the reference... 😂

Yo yo YO!!! The first 10 minutes of that masterpiece got me hollerin', on the floor, and totally wrecked. 😂😂😂

Outside of the older Jerry Springer episodes, not many things had me laughing like that. 1941 was a gem, and people who talk shit about it in Youtube comments ain't got a clue of what movie culture of the 60s to the early 2000s was like.

It was more like “yang yang yang yang yang.”

Such a quotable movie. One of my dad’s favorites so it was a staple growing up.

It was 108 yesterday and today is supposed to be hotter. Going to spray after breakfast and see if I can find a way to watch it this afternoon.

I'm not trying to disparage Shelby Steele since I don't know much about him, but FIFY.
Feel Free to read his work
Clarence Thomas is judge, but he is not in an academic category as are the others.

Separate but equal, ever heard that before?:)
