Turns out (surprise!) every thing he said was a lie, except being in the Navy. And he lied about his father’s career, as well.
He was my boss’s boss. So I just quit.

i really HATE daylight savings time. 9PM full light and 90 degrees here in june in c.fl. but it's for the children,the farmers,the environment or whatever other bullshit reason they come up with. doing the flip either way really sucked going either way working 12hr nights. completely screws my circadian rhythm for 2 weeks going either way. spoken to many other people same/same. the real reason is lost in the mists of time. saving whale oil i think is how this started. anything to fuck with the plebs.

My buddy catching a nice right on our trip to Costa Rica last week. Not sexy, but motivational.
Split blocks like that are usually caused by harmonics and vibrations at high rpm. I've mainly seen Ford 302 stock blocks split like that when high HP (500+) and high rpm are involved, or when a harmonic balancer fails and it isn't addressed immediately. Nitrous may have been involved, but that isn't the cause.
One of those “poors” doesn’t have to be good, they only have to be lucky, and your ass is just as dead.
