CMP TALLADEGA AND SOUTH STORES MIGHT HAVE M1903 SPRINGFIELDS IN LIMITED QUANTITIES AT DEAL PRICES.

One of the iconic US military longarms that is also one of the primary .30-06 deer rifles of the Greatest Generation. Gone are the days when Bannerman's, Navy Arms, and Mitchell's Mausers had barrel loads of M1903s and M1917s at prices lower than a reproduction Springfield 1861 rifled musket at the time, but they are still occasionally showing up if one knows where to look...

It is kind of amusing sometimes to go in asking for parts for a model/engine combo that doesn't exist from OEM. That deer in headlights look.

It then rapidly becomes very annoying...
I built an 88 full size blazer with a 1965 327, turbo 400, and 1978 10 bolt front with 8lug hubs, 14 bolt full floater with disc brakes in the rear, and custom built drive shafts. Getting parts was a nightmare at the local AutoZone or O'Reilly's.
