Looks like a dried up lake to me. Texas like many places is running out of water.

I have been telling myself not to get involved in this shit, but I did....
This is the kind of stuff that just fires me up but I'm trying to remain grounded... but yes, that doesn't surprise me but with that said- for what little it may be worth to you, I'm sincerely sorry that you have to suffer because other people were (frankly) idiots and for what ever reason, the powers to be seem to think it makes sense to deprive you of adequate treatment because of a handful of junkies that likely can't even fathom why you'd be given the pain medication you were prescribed..I had a total knee replacement last month which can be VERY painful for days afterwards. I was sent home with 20 5mg Oxycodone tablets ….period !!
They didn’t even begin to dull the pain , much less give any relief. I asked the surgeons nurse why they lowball patients with pain meds when they know you’ll be hurting ??
Got the standard “ opioid crises” excuse. … I get it , but I’m 71 years old and never abuse drugs. Why the fuck do they even make them ??
Guess the drug reps aren’t greasing the doctors palms enough anymore ?
And yes- that absolutely pisses me off but unfortunately all I can do is agree with your assessment that you're getting screwed over because of a very small portion of idiots. I can't fix it unfortunately but I can at least be pissed off with you.

At great risk to myself, here, I will confess to a former "fleeting" fantasy of mine.
In re: the movie, "The Exorcist," I once fantasized of an "adult" (of course) Regan, kneeling and facing me and straddling my head (with me supine) and saying (in a very low voice), "You're gonna die up there..." before letting loose!
