My dad was a commercial pilot and I worked summers as a lineman/gofer at the local airport.

One day I was out side and I heard this strange whop-whop-whop. No biggie I thought, a chopper, but nothing came into view. Twenty minutes later, a Cobra hovered over the ramp and shut down after landing. Those are the widest rotor blades I think I have ever seen. Apparently you could hear them from miles away.

When you're PM'in @BurtG while day drinking, things tend to happen.

Like I mentioned earlier…motivational and inspiring! LoL

Today’s subjects: one of my SBR’d lowers with a 300 BLK upper, and my 3-tax-stamp PDW/PCC:

The first one was my usual pull the bcg, tape up the optic where needed, throw it in an old laundry bag, and spray away!

i-P4wVPvb-X4.jpg

Literally took less than 10 minutes total time, including waiting for the first coats to flash off before turning it over. Light coats help, just sayin’ @clcustom1911 LoL

Left the magnifier and mount unpainted for now since that gets swapped between multiple uppers. Really doesn’t matter I suppose, but didn’t want to mess with it today. Turned out nice….well, good enough for my needs anyway!

i-SvxvwJD-X4.jpg

Second one’s taking a lot longer; partially because I’ve never used this technique before, and I really haven’t figured out the “art” of the barrier/mask application (dish soap) yet, and partially for the drying time between coats after I wash away the dish soap.

i-dR7d6wT-X4.jpg

In fact, I’m posting this right now while waiting for the rifle to fully air dry after doing the first layer on both sides:

…more to follow.

————-

Edit: second coat down, soap washed off and the rifle’s drying again. Clearly need to go much, much heavier on the dish soap ’mask’ for the first coat, and not much less on the second to preserve more of the tan Cerakote base color.

i-tqfzR6P-X4.jpg

I’ll probably hit it with a light mist of tan after it’s dry to bring it back to a color more appropriate for my AO, but I actually like this technique…I just need to figure out how to properly apply it!

Edit #2: basically wound up with a paint job similar to the first one after going back over it with the tan. Turned out pretty cool, but it was a lot of work vs. the simple 10-minute version. Especially considering I had to do a complete detail strip and clean after hosing it down to remove the soap:

Okay lash...this has taken on a life of it's own.
Went to make a sammich, grabbed the mayo,
opened the drawer and there it was.

So of course, when the cosmos gives you a nudge,
you take the hint and go with it. :sneaky:

The wife heard me laughing in the kitchen.
She's learned that's normal and ignored it.
Y'er welcome. ;)

A tip for getting your paint to flash off quicker is to put it in a bucket of hot water, NOT BOILING. let the can get hot and wipe down the can before spraying light coats. I use water from the hot side of my shop faucet.

Love the paint job, but I'm curious. What makes 3 tax stamps? Two is the most I could think of.

Thin waists and boobs up high where they belong

Not sure if you’re speaking from experience, but I dated a woman with fake tits, and they were well done. She looked great in clothes, but the implants just didn’t do it for me otherwise. They feel fake.

She’s a great girl and we dated seriously for years. I’ve seen her recently and she’s still very attractive. She was definitely the marrying type. And her tits still look great.

But after experiencing so many real ones over the years, I like my wife’s naturals so much better, even though they don’t “look perfect” like my ex.

Tits that are sucked into a woman’s body and mounted closer to her chin than her stomach look and feel weird.

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate tits and women of most shapes and sizes (not fuglies, obviously). There’s lots to go around for both of us!

A client I trained on the rifle range works for Bell. His only job is the main rotor blades on the Huey. He told me they've been converted to four main rotor blades, because it is more efficient. I said "But that would mean they lost their distinctive sound and that makes me sad."

When we wanted to be noisy or to announce our presence we would "Set condition Max Wok", it was about 80 knots, 43 psi torque.
