And since you don’t like pineapple on pizza, here’s pizza on pineapple:

Those can't be pineapples. Walked into a classroom one day and the teacher was teaching the kids that pineapples grow on trees. 🤣🤣🤣

Charolais can be temperamental. Mostly a PITA from what I hear. I'll pass on them just in case.
That’s not a full charolais from what I can see. I bet it’s a cross breed. My charolais are pretty gentle. But that video also tells you one reason it wound up at the auction and why it’s about to go serve some customers at McDonalds. Life is way too short for crazy cows.

Very early next spring, throw a few apple peels into the center to encourage blossoming (the pineapple). The fruit take a long time to mature. Don’t pick/cut until it starts to get yellow on the fruit. Then, depending upon how many critters are in your area, either pick it and let it ripen in a sunny window or leave it on the plant until you can smell it up close.

Either way, let it set and ripen on the counter until it’s dark yellow. Twist the top off and set it to dry for replanting and cut it up. Yum. Sweetest pineapple you’ll ever eat.
Put the apple peels Into the center of the plant? Like into the folds in the leaves?

I would like to nominate @CCISTERDAWG as supreme leader and fuhrer of the Pit
Did they misspell Master Chef?

The physical condition and appearance is one thing. The fact that they all look like they haven’t seen a drop of sunlight for 6 months also sticks out to me.

But I admit that my military experience involves Saturday morning GI Joe cartoons and conversations with those who served.

I just expected them to be a bit more wirey and tough. But I guess the military needs nerds now more than ever.

Just toss a couple peels into the very center. Like the picture I just took mimics. Pineapples are Bromeliads, which collect food and water in the center of the plant. Thus their shape.

The ripening/decomposing apple peels produce ethylene gas, which prompts the plant to flower. The pineapple is the flower core that fruits after the small purple flowers come and go. You can add a peel a few days in a row if you feel like it.

After flowering and producing a fruit, the mother plant dies but not before producing at least one and often a few young plants called offshoots or simply pups. Plus, as mentioned above, the top of the fruit can be planted to produce a new plant.
