OBTW, the Navy flies over my house at half that distance/altitude. I'm happy to have them there.

I remember cutting my grass in my front yard in base housing and three A10s were banking to come in to land and I looked up, they were going slower than I really realized they could fly (never saw too many A10s). By the third one I had stopped mowing and was enjoying the sight, Pilot saw me and I gave him a thumbs up, he waved back. He was close enough I could see his facial features (eyes and brow) enough to tell it was a dude not a chick.

They fly close all the time, no big deal.
