Struck a nerve a bit? Reminds me of a guy Juan I used to work with. Every morning I'd start singing "Juan is the loneliest beaner that you've ever known!" He'd say "I'm not a beaner, I'm Guatemalan!" "Okay, Southern beaner, my mistake!" Then we'd both start laughing. He was really good natured and a good friend. So AOC is an island beaner, who cares?
