The
Main argument I hear, mostly from friends who do carry is the protection it gives them from an accidental exposure of their carry weapon. Not that that is common, but it currently can get you in pretty hot water.
It also allows you to open carry on your property without repercussions.
BBQ gun. Everybody has one and we want to show them off at the BBQ. 😁

No matter what anyone says about it, or how much they blame it for Kobe Bryant's death (it was "PILOT ERROR" FFS), I will always be a S-76 Bravo fan. If I could buy my own chopper, it's what I'd get (new or refurbished).
Trust me when I say this;
It was not the aircraft. Literally I was 'there" when it happened. It was really fucked up!

We'll see what happens but, frankly, I don't want to be the "test case." I'll stay concealed, unless I"m somewhere where OC is SOP (like an outdoor range or something).

Besides, I can't imagine the legislature not trying to pony up new laws/restrictions pronto. Nor can I imagine certain LEAs not wanting to stop harassing OC'ers in their AO.
Our laws in PA concerning open carry are a bit convoluted and complex. Anyone who can legally own a firearm can open carry anywhere except Philadelphia, but the second they get into a vehicle it's a problem unless they have a License to Carry Firearms, which is easy to get if you are not prohibited from having firearms.

Except while hunting or on my own property, I prefer to stay concealed. I have 2 friends who open carry everywhere, and only one of them was asked to cover up or leave an establishment once. He left quietly. Here, signs do not have the force of law - you only have a problem if you're asked to leave and refuse.

Once they cancelled the last semi-sane Democrat from PA—James Traficant (D)—the state went to hell in a hand-basket. :)

I got to hear a few of his infamous "one-minute speeches." Instant classics. lol

Anyone remember him and his polyester plaid suits? #BeamMeUp

One of my favorite floor speeches:

THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES
October 5, 2000
Broadway has announced a new play called `The Vagina Monologues.' I quote, the promo states that `Vagina Monologues uses humor and drama to explore such things as sexual fantasies, orgasms, pelvic examinations and rape.' Now if that is not enough to entice your condominium, this vaginal virtuoso is being billed as theater at its finest.Unbelievable. What is next? Rectal Diaries? Men are dropping like flies in America from prostate cancer and Broadway is promoting vaginal titillation.
Beam me up. I advise all New York men to sleep on their stomachs, and I yield back all the STDs on the East Coast.

I'm not familiar with him in PA. Wasn't he a rep from Ohio?

I've spent many days wandering the halls in Harrisburg focused on only 2A issues, and there were at least a couple of D's who had it right. This was 10+ years ago, and now the D's who have a slim House majority through unconstitutional redistricting by activist judges are in lockstep on everything.
