I built one similar to this the treads were ash and the 3/4 round aluminum balusters two per step went to the ceiling, was a pretty cool project. Not sure if I have pics or not.
Still robbing the cradle after all these years.
Entitled tough guy. Thinks because of the color of his skin and his attitude (act-titude) the he was automatically a tough guy.
I used to deal with a guy like this at work. "Worked" with me for years. Later worked under me. Always with the posturing. Puffed up tough guy routine. Making veiled and not so veiled threats. Bad ass from the streets, or so he liked to pretend (having actually gown up middle class in a white neighborhood.) But he went out of his way to squander all his father's hard work, went out of his way to live as just about every negative stereotype you could come up with. Convinced he was oppressed and a victim, held down by the man. So I used that against him. I finally said to him calmly and quietly one day when he was puffed up and feeling froggy... "When you go missing, just disappear, just how long do you think the cops are going to spend looking for you? Fifteen, maybe twenty minutes tops?"
And that seemed to do the trick.
