Sadly CA sends jury duty to everyone who has a drivers license as well as registered to vote.
I know two people here on a student visa who got called for jury duty
Pretty much all illegals can get a drivers license in CA.
The theory was to cut down on non licensed and non insured drivers
Fewer hit and runs as people who are insured and licensed will leave a note
You can guess that did not work out
They use to tow and impound cars of illegals and then stopped as it was evil.
Then they issued licenses and never went back to impounding cars from unlicensed folks
Ca stinks and our governor wants to spread it nation wide
