I think that one’s a ‘68? I drove a ‘66. Still have it with intentions to fix it up. It’s in a garage though, not in a pasture with a tree growing through it. 😂😂😂

My uncle bought a '66. He loved it until the day he wasn't paying attention and got into a flat spin with it. Damn near killed him. Miraculously, both he and the car survived with only minor scratches.. But he traded it in the next day for something a lot safer to drive.

Of course, I fondly remember the "Shelby" GT500 version of the Mustang. I think one of the employees in the local hardware store had one always parked outside the store as I walked by. nIce

Ooh, inquiring minds want to know
Not today Fedboi.

Polish 🇵🇱 Princess said she felt right at home in TN with the weather (near-identical to her area in PL), loved the lack of diversity, strong Christianity in the general area, and she LOVES BBQ BRISKET (first time having it this way). 🤍🤍🤍

And she was laughing at all the high-calorie people 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Closed escrow on 5 acres in one of the most postcard-perfect neighborhoods I've ever seen. Now the real bullshit begins.

In a completely fictional, unrelated fact, the above year range may or may not, by some coincidence, have coincidentally coincided with the CIA totally not assisting with trafficking cocaine and using LSD in MK Ultra for a while.... in Minecraft....... 👀

Where do you get "Daisy BB Guns?" (FIFY, BTW :D), That could easily be a .22LR (if not bigger), and those do make at least enough noise to scare a young infant wihtout ear protection. I know they scared me when I was like 7-8 in summer day camp. Granted that was in an indoor range in a confined space, but...
I get Daisy's BB gun by looking at it and knowing what they look like dip shit. See there are actual shooters and gun people here. Not just glowtards. 🙈🙉🙊

Touchy, aren't we? Did we get up on the wrong side of bed today?

I never said I knew everything about every last gun out there. Far from it. I only expressed what I thought it could be. I never said for certain that it was. And I was only asking you how you knew it was... And, believe it or not, we are all "actual shooters" here. Some with more experience than others.

Look, Dave... I can see you're really upset about this... I honestly think you should sit down calmly, take a stress pill and think things over..

Okay Boomer…😄

It seems that way because our minds filter reality for us. I had both ‘67 Stang and ‘69 Camaro. Both were used and the Stang looked good but truly gave life to the old fix or repair daily mantra for me. The Camaro was a total blast to drive and due to its light back end taught me how to drift before it was cool.

But frankly, my wife’s current V6 325HP 2013 Camaro RS is a much better muscle car in every way. Well, except for the complicated mechanics and packed under hood real estate.

Except in 1978 my brother and I could afford to use our own money from working hourly jobs to buy a drivable 10 year old Mustang with a 302 and 4 speed. And could afford to buy aftermarket performance parts to make it really go.

Can you do that now? Filter that.

Tell us you loved the Dodge Aries K without telling us....wonder how many have them stowed away, with every other piece of chit produced since the late 70s, for future restoration. ;)

I was an SS/Nova guy, I admit it...but it's been decades since I saw a car on the road where I said, you know what, I should buy one of those and put it away, because it's going to be a collectable worth preserving for 50 years. #OkayBoomer

I don’t disagree, I bought my used ‘67 working two jobs. I immediately found out it needed helper springs and repaired rear floorboards before I could use the back seat. I did mild mods to the 302 myself. Along with blackjack headers and a less restrictive muffler.

And yes, I could fix it with just a limited mechanical background and a Chiltons. The problem was that it was old and tired. Yeah, it was 1978 for me too. It literally broke down either going to or from my jobs at least 2-3 times a week. So I sold it to someone who wanted it and bought the ‘69 Camaro in ‘79.

That was my fun car and it too was easy to upgrade and repair, but repairs needed on it were minimal.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but you’re not entirely correct. This car exists, is waaay more practical, and is even faster than it is practical

And girls like this are becoming more and more common

8mpg isn't meant to be "practical."

Let's leave "practical" to the guys still trying to keep the dream alive sporting a jack-ed up Honda Odyssey with Cragars in the cul-de-sac with 3.2 kids en route to soccer practice. :)
