And there needs to be a "beaver" inspection ASAP. This was back in the days where here was very little "trim."
That stuff actually shoots really nice in my lightweight .308 gun! Pretty sure I’ve posted this pic in another thread (not in The Pit), but I was on track to one of my best ever 5-shot groups (blue numbers) with that True Velocity ammo until I shanked shot #5:
Shots marked with the red numbers was me dialing in the scope, and that was only at 100 yards but I’m pretty happy with that group from a lightweight gun with a 16” barrel just using a shitty rest (literally a stack of carpet covered 2x4s) and small rear bag.
That rifle and my AR10 really like that plastic cased .308 stuff, but it’s pricey. It’s definitely comparable to Norma and Federal Gold match for accuracy…at least out of my guns.
