That's funny. I think I know where it ended up. Long ago I was doing a project for an AFB. They had a boneyard of eastern block vehicles that they convert to remote controled to do attack practice on. (I was disposing all of the radium dials and other radioactive material that they pull out of them) There was a Hind in there. My counterpart at the base mentioned that there was a story behind it, but didn't elaborate. I'm going to bet that a whole bunch of that abandoned hardware mentioned above ended up in that boneyard. By the way, for a tinker nerd, can you imagine getting paid to convert Soviet vehicles in to remote controlled toys/targets? How that for the ultimate in movers?
