my 7 year old is tough as nails. Fearless
been in a tough spot for a bit struggling with some stuff about her parents being divorced, going between 2 homes, etc.
Yesterday she wouldnt ride a Razor scooter in the skate park because she was afraid of what other kids might say since she isnt well practiced or super good.
This is key to keep in my mind as we work through this. Will be good for the step kids as well.

I work in construction, steel beams have a lower fire rating than wood or laminate that can carry the same load. Wood and laminate will keep strength until you burn out the core layers, steel loses strength when you heat it enough that it loses hardness. Steel beams turn into fucking spaghetti if you heat them up while they're carrying a load.
