What wood is that and what finish did you use?

The plywood is birch and the trim is maple. I used Minwax ebony stain and oil-based Varithane. I sanded the living fuck out of it, from 100 grit down to 400, put on a Native American headdress, danced around it with the peace pipe, sanded it again, threatened fire and brimstone and still got that blotchiness. Then I said: "What the fuck, it's just going to get all covered in spent primer dust" then took two shots of cheap tequila and declared it perfect.

I'll give her a triple load of fabric softener...

Gotta get me one of these, Next you know the pellets will be regulated and scarce and expensive. But hey, no primers or powder to find and buy.

A really good air rifle can be a lot of fun. And they can also get really expensive - for a good one.
The most accurate rifle I own is an air rifle. It's also the most expensive.
