@diggler1833 i really hate to hear that. Even tho I am not in the country I cannot fathom loosing a farm animal. I could never be a farmer. I just remember how hard it was to put down our GSD on the Mrs.’s birthday.

It is somewhat more common than people think, but you can run cattle and be a fan of animals at the same time. Every loss effects more than the ranch bank account.

I only run 90 production cows, but it allows me to know the unique personality traits of all of them. They are all 'bag broke' (will come to feed by just calling them). They aren't pets, but I do interact with them daily.

When I first got to my Uncles farm I was about 8. We were moving the cows and I asked him what one's name was. He said she didn't have a name, so I asked if I could name her. He said sure just don't get to close because soon Canada Packers would be coming.

The most dangerous animal in the world is a pet bull. You never know when you day will come. Especially in breeding season.

Far more dangerous than that is a range cow with a calf. Pet Bull, yeah. People trust 'em when they shouldn't.

Our former accountant used to keep a cow and calf on their property each year.

Till one day they discovered that what humans think of as a big set of solid barriers is more like twigs to an angry cow that wants to get to her calf right now.....

They decided sticking with chickens and bees was a lot safer.

That shit’s wind chill. Been that way here for a week here in Iowa. Big deal. Suck it up buttercup.

Here’s Baudette & International Falls, MN actual temp. No wind chill. Fortunately, minimal to no wind blowing so wind chill temps are the same.
I'd rather have -29 degrees on a calm day than - 36 wind chill. Wind chill means that's what it feels like buttercup. Enough with the comparing who's the toughest cold weather mfer, some old woman in Siberia would be laughing at us.

How the fuck is it, that every time we get some lovely ladies, y’all start talking about fucking cows? I swear I feel like I’m on the set of Brokeback Mountain!

Feel free to use the incognito function to search porn without your big ol' mean wife finding out and kicking your ass 😉.

That way dudes don't have to filter through normal conversations to see tits on a gun website.

That right there ... My grandpa had one nice breeder Bull, nice easygoing, and he would just lead him around anywhere by wrapping middle finger around the Nose Ring and talking to him with little pull on the nose . Was like that for years with him . But one time, he was just being a little out of his head ( just rough playing ) and knocked him down, roughed him up on the ground with forehead pressing, rolling him . Busted him up pretty good on the Ribs and set him back a couple weeks .
