Is there any reason NOT to get the LT158 (added 10moa) or ADM Recon (with 20moa) instead of the regular versions? I plan on using it with the SWFA 5-20x50 I ordered through the facecrack deal and shooting mid range with it on an AR15 with LT Stealth upper. I doubt I'll get over 800m and usually only do 400-600m. I know I probably don't absolutely need it but why would you get a regular mount over one with a bit of added elevation? The 1-6x24 will go in a LT104 I already have and probably never shoot over 600m.

I didn't see the need for an extra 20-25 moa mount when I picked up my ADM Recon and when I purchased the GDI because I will be shooting inside 800yds and my optic provides plenty of elevation for that.

If I were shooting at extended long ranges such as 1200+ with something like a .338LM, .50BMG, .300WM, etc....then I would definitely see the need for the extra MOA in a mount.

You don't need it, but it won't kill you either. If you ever swopped it out to another gun or scope or...you would have the elevation. Some people prefer to not have it if they don't need it though.
