I purchased a March 324x42 to mount on a LMT mws and a rem 700. I know LaRue makes a riser that will make this possible, but with the some comments made about the way LaRue goes on the rail I am skeptical. Is there another riser that I could use on the LMT with say AAdmout rings. Is there another one piece mount that would function on both, the 42mm objective makes it a little easier if there is a solution out there.

I found the perfect solution Badger makes a riser rail: AR Riser Rail for flat top style rifles, allows the use of shorter rings and also allows greater latitude for scope placement. The rail is made so that a longer scope can be mounted further forward on AR-16/M16 style rifles. Rail has 22 MOA forward cant. Made from 7075 T6 Aluminum and hard coat anodized matte black. Weight: 2.9 oz., Length 5 3/8”, Height: 0.430” high. Andrew at Bobro is coming out with an ultra low mount which I think should resolve the issue.

Posted this in case someone else runs into the same thing.

Definitely a decent option the other option is to just use a standard AR height mount like the AADMount (a favorite of mine) and just get an adjustable cheek piece for your R700.
