below is a pic of the group i shot, the range conditions are as follows

temps: 19

winds: 5-10

sunny out

yards 100

ammo federal power shock 150 gr

the post-a-note is 2" id say the group would fit in a 4" squair. i was trying many diffrent shooting styles working on squeezing the psg 1 trigger and just getting a feel for every thing as well as fine tuning the scope.

iam not gonna sit here and make excuses that group sux, i know the rifle has potential to shoot 1/2 moa i just need more trigger time and warmer temps i was absolutly frost bitten it was fridged out. also the benches at this range suck, they are to high for me, i would like to sit both elbows on the table and use my left hand to hold the butt stock but the bench is to tall for me to shoot like this, i cannot wait to go pron with my bi-pod maybe next time ill take a tarp and lay on it and see if i can do better.

i might change to smaller locking rollers, when unlocking the weapon its just a bit to stiff, this will also ease up onthe recoil just a bit how ever to me it doesnt feel as if their was much recoil with the rubber butt and 2 stage buffer.

all and all iam on the paper and on the right track and i cannot wait till it warms up a bit so i can shrink my groups and get more trigger time. i belive about 90% of the bad group was me learning the trigger and flinching, i cought my self doing it a few times, i have watched alot of vary awsome marksmanship training vids on youtube and cannot wait to put them in practice once it gets warmer

also wanna switch to a scope with magnification maybe 4-14 falcon or somthing of that nature the 10x doesnt seem to be working or iam just not steady enough to hold it on the tiny 1" squair

From what I have read 168 grain to 175 grain might be a bit better for the barrel you are running. However I am just learning. I am sure others here will be able to help.

I would say the cold temp and getting used to the rifle and scope account a bit for the poor grouping. Both of the PTRs and the Cetme that I had would group under 2 inches consistantly at 100 yrds with a 4x scope using 147 grain surplus ammo.
