VC Finishes just completed the "Hydro-dipping" on the body panels, on my 2010 Polaris Sportsman 850 XP, in Multicam. They do good work and I recommend them for any camo or other water transfer finishing needs.

$550.00. They are about an hour away from me, so I dropped off the parts and picked them up. I could not imagine how much it would cost had I had to ship parts that large.

I thought about it, but I wanted to see how the body panels turned out first. I think that some surfaces with deep cutouts (around the edge of the rim) can be problematic for water transfer process.

Re: Multicam Polaris

DO WANT! I think I'm just going to take the plastics off of my new RZR and do the krylon camo job though. I don't know of anybody around here that does camo dipping that could do anything the size of the RZR plastics.

They apply an automotive grade clear coat after dipping it. They said that they use a different clear coat, for things that are exposed to the elements, that has more UV protection than what they use for interior parts. It appears to be quite durable, but time will tell.
